Trophy Awards
The following categories are available for youth and adult: Largest Buck, Smallest Buck, Longest Turkey Beard, Longest Pheasant Tail, Longest Squirrel Tail, Large and Small Mouthed Bass, Largest Rainbow, Brook, Brown, and Palamino Trout. Those eligible for trophy awards must be a member in good standing. Rules: All game must be killed in Pennsylvania during current hunting season on public or private ground. NO FENCED IN AREA PERMITTED! (example Letterkenny) All fish must be caught in Pennsylvania water during current fishing season open to public fishing. NO PAY LAKES PERMITTED! (example Arrowhead Springs) All game or fish must be killed or caught by member presenting it for registration in contest. For any questions or concerns or to register any game for awards, contact Tim Sollenberger at 717-369-3032 or Randy Shindle at 717-369-3331. You can also register at Keystone Outdoors, Fort Loudon.
Range Closings
The range will be closing at 3:00 p.m. on dates of club functions such as Steak Feeds, etc. The rifle range is closed during groundhog shoots, and 22 Silhouettes, but the black powder and pistol range is open for your convenience. Check our website www.stthomassportsmen.com for any last minute closings. You may also call the club’s hotline at 717-369-4791 for any closings that aren’t listed in the newsletter. If you are planning on closing the range for any reason, the club needs a 2 week notice.
T-Shirts, Jackets, and Hats
T-Shirts, with the Sportsmen's logo, are now available to purchase in various colors and sizes. Prices are as follows: without pocket, sizes small to extra large are $10.00, with pocket, sizes small to extra large are $11.00. Sleeveless, sizes small to extra large are $12.00.  Larger sizes are available for an extra fee. Also, we have hats available in camo and orange for $15.00 each.  You can also order jackets in various colors and sizes.  They are available at club meetings, steak feeds and at funnel cake locations or by calling.  Any questions or to order, contact Charlie and Pat Wagner at 717-352-7274.
2019 Halloween Party
The Halloween party for the member’s children and grandchildren was cancelled this year. Hopefully, we will have one next year. If you have any questions, please call Nicole Shindle at 717-369-2535 or Becky Sadler at 717-369-5859.
2019 Christmas Party
The 2019 children’s Christmas party was held Saturday, November 23rd at 5:00 p.m. There were 30 children and grandchildren present. Santa arrived with a gift for each child. A great time was had by all who attended. A big THANK YOU to Galen and Clara May for the donation of the Christmas tree
Funnel Cake Trailer
Welcome to 2020. We would like to start off by thanking all those wonderful volunteers who helped in 2019 at all the events.

This coming year, the Sportsmen Club is only doing two events. Please call with times you can volunteer for the following events. This is one of our major fundraisers for the club
Our tentative schedule for 2020 is as follows:
Marion Festival - June 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th
Shippensburg Fair - July 20th - July 25th
Shippensburg Demolition Derby - September 5th
